Creative Project: Our proposal for our creative project is to create a grenade. We will do this with an arduino board and a ball of LED's. We will set the frequency of the LED's to the same frequency as our gun to make sure we don't get hit by it. We will be able to choose the frequency by switches on the arduino and a button will set it. Once set we will wait five seconds until it lights up with the set frequency for around 5 seconds.

Creative Project: We propose to add a laser into the system. Right now we are planning to mount it onto the side or top of the gun. It will shoot at the same time and and the same frequency as the LED. This will give our guns an extra long range as well as act as a laser sight to aid in aiming. We have already bought a laser from the shop and confirmed that our laser tag system can detect a hit from the laser transmitting a player’s frequency.

Creative Project: We are going to add a small speaker and a set of LEDs to the laser tag system for our creative part of lab 5. The LEDs will light up in a rotating pattern on a hat or a shirt whenever a hit is detected, alerting the shooter and us that we have received a hit. The speaker will play a sound whenever we are hit or pull the trigger, distracting our enemies and providing us with encouragement and support in the midst of battle.
