Booting from the SD Card
Attached is a copy of the pdf instructions on how to set up an SD card for the ZedBoard to boot from. The applicable information begins on page 23 where you will create a first stage boot loader. On page 24 and 25 you will run through the Create Boot Image Wizard. ** Note: The order you add the three files into the Wizard is crucial. Next you need to go to where you created the boot file and change the name of your file to BOOT.BIN instead of what it automatically names it. On page 26 it describes which jumpers to switch to get your board to boot from the SD card. It also tells you that the green power light should turn on immediately after turning on the power switch and the blue DONE led should turn on about five seconds after power is turned on if the SD card boot was successful. This set of instructions was a great walk through to learn how to boot from SD.
