Creative Project: Our idea is to make a gun which requires you to hold the trigger for several seconds to charge up a beam which fires continuously for a few seconds after the trigger is released. We were thinking of creating a physical gun which would have its own power source and microcontroller to keep track of how long the trigger has been held and illuminate a row of LEDs to indicate charge level.

Creative Project: Our group's creative proposal is to create an Auto-Turret. It would use computer vision to recognize people, then move servos to point a high power LED at the identified person. It would have the ability to shoot at all the player frequencies, and work autonomously once set-up. It could also have functionality added to fit it into the different gameplay modes.

Creative Project: Our proposal is a Harry Potter wizard dueling game. We will 3D print
two wands and attach the transmitter LED, photo diode, hit LED  and
trigger button to the wand. The spell to cast will be chosen by a
simple android app with 5 buttons for spell selection.  Each spell
will have different purposes and will be chosen later, one example is
a fire spell that continues to damage the player after the hit.

Creative Project: For our Creative Project we would like to enable a limited “shield” mode for the game. Throughout the course of the game, each player will be allotted a few seconds(10ish) to be able to shield themselves from any hit. They will not be able to shield and shoot at the same time but will be able to enable it using by holding down the trigger for 2-3 seconds. There will also be a penalty for holding the shield too long, you will be “stunned” and not be able to shoot for several seconds.

Creative Project:
We'd like to make a "freeze tag" game mode for the laser tag system. The basic game play would be similar to freeze tag where if a player from one team shoots someone from the other team that player becomes "frozen" and they can't shoot anyone else. Afterwards, if someone from their own team shoots them, they can "unfreeze" and rejoin the game. The game ends when all the players from either team are frozen and they lose.

Creative Project: The game would entail each player beginning with a different player frequency. When shot, the player becomes "contaminated" and their current transmitting frequency would switch to the frequency which hit them, thus making them become part of that team as well. A player can change teams more than once but only players that have been hit by another team switch over. Play continues until all players are shooting at the same frequency.

Creative Project: We would like to do a creative project where we make different kind of shots that can be fired from the gun. One that is a Three round burst, one that is fully automatic, one that has a poison effect and then one that has a charged up mode.  You would be able to switch between these different types of firing modes along with the original one.

Creative Project: For my groups creative proposal, we have decided to implement a new factor to our game. When a player shoots opponents 5 times in a row without being shot (a hit streak), that player will be given a "shield". This shield will give them immunity from being hit the next two times the player is shot.

Creative Project: Our team decided on creating an Iron Man version of the led shooter. This is where we will design a glove that will act as a gun. It will be standalone with its own processor and battery.

Creative Project: We would like to create an incognito playing mode. One person would be "incognito" and everyone else would have normal settings and be on a team. However, no one knows who is incognito (besides the person who is incognito). The incognito person would then try to eliminate everyone before they eliminate the incognito. The players on the same team DO NOT have friendly fire and can figure out they are on the same team by shooting each other and then teaming up against the incognito.

Creative Project: The game starts with 2 teams. Each team is trying to infect/convert the entire other team to their team. We will use sound to indicate that player has been flipped.  As soon as everyone is on the same team, you win.

Creative Project: We will create a "hunting" mode where it is one player against all the rest. The goal of the "hunted" is to survive, while the goal of the rest is to take them out. To help level the playing field with this mismatch, the man by himself can take up to 10 hits while each of the "hunters" can only take 2 hits. Additionally, the hunters will have no invincibility timer after taking a hit, and the "hunted" will be allowed to fire shots during their invincibility timer after taking a hit.
If after this we feel the one being hunted still needs an additional advantage, we can make the clip size get larger as they lose lives so that they don't have to reload as frequently as they get closer to possibly losing.

Creative Project: We would like to implement an invincibility feature in our system where we connect the output of an external button, etc. to one of the ZYBO board pins. When the button is pressed, the player is invincible to any shots for 10 seconds (optimizable for gameplay). To create an incentive to not perpetually use the shield, a player using the invincibility shield will also not be able to shoot other players.

Creative Project: We will implement a "bomb-defusing" game mode where the players are divided into two teams: terrorists and counter-terrorists. We will make a "bomb" which the terrorists will hide somewhere within the play area. The counter-terrorists will have to defuse it before a timer runs out. If the timer runs out, the device detonates and the terrorists win.

Creative Project: Cats & Dogs
Players are split into two teams. No-one knows who their teammates are, but every 10-15 seconds a meow or bark sound will be played from each player’s backpack, indicating that they are a part of the “Cat Clowder” or the “Dog Pack.” The objective is to find out who is on your team and eliminate the other team. The team that eliminates all of the opposing team is the winning team.

Creative Project: Because the packs can't communicate with each other, it would be difficult to determine when the game is over. To make this easier, we would add a zombie sound effect that plays every 10 seconds or so to let a player know they are a zombie.

For this game mode, there would only be two teams and two frequencies used. We would ignore all other frequencies. Instead of having the switches indicate player frequency, the first switch would indicate which team the player is on and the remaining three switches would indicate the human to zombie ratio. This ratio would be used to calculate the number of lives each player has in order to make the teams more fair.

Creative Project: For our creative project, we would like to create a system to "hit" multiple guns (or frequencies) at one time. The system would consist of an Arduino, LED, and drone. If the drone cannot carry the system, then we will move it onto an RC car or other remote control device.

Creative Project: Our project proposal for milestone 6 is to hook up a LED onto a custom robot I built. I've been working on it for a while now, and it really needs a purpose. I 3D printed this thing a while ago, and was controlling it with my phone but recently I designed a custom controller with bluetooth to automatically connect and drive around. The current state it is in is only able to drive around, and it can move the arm when you give it a command from the computer. So what this milestone would consist of would be making the arm controllable via the controller, and attaching an LED on it to fire on unsuspecting targets. The controller also has two switches on the top that we can use to change the frequency of the LEDs on the robot.

Creative Project: We want to design and 3d print a charging station that can be used to recharge the number of shots available to the player.  That way, we can force them to return to base occasionally.

Creative Project: One Gun to Rule Them All
Large group of players (15-30) start on different frequencies 0-9
Everytime you are tagged you switch to the frequency that tagged you.
The first few minutes are chaotic, but as frequencies are removed from the pool teams consolidate, eventually one team will be left standing.  
Everyone wins (by default).  Lots of fun, good memories.

CREATIVE PROPOSAL: We will be implementing a killstreak reward system in our laser tag system. The killstreaks will be time based, and will reward players who have gone unshot for a certain period of time with various perks (immunity, rapid fire, extra points, etc.). It will also discourage camping by penalizing going too long without shooting at anyone by adding hits and potentially taking lives away as well.
